Meet my Cousin/Friend/Photographer Pal Rachel and her beautiful Family! She rocks! She is part of the reason I started to believe that I could go back in time and shoot more amazing pictures by shooting Film! She helped me believe in myself and even talked shop with me when I bought my mamma jamma medium format camera. I love her lots and I am grateful for her cousinship! I had the opportunity to shoot a quick family session last month. (Yes I sent this to the lab and had to wait the old fashioned way until they had been processed.) There is beauty in patience I say! Spontaneous Fun! – Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

Some of my most treasured pictures are the ones where we aren't dressed up and my kids have stained shirts and messy hair. You can't plan moments like these. I am all about being in the moment at that exact place and time. It can't be re-created and frankly, I wouldn't want to. I love the spontaneity of it all. Don't mind the laundry hanging in the background or the stuff on the counters. The bathroom isn't the ideal place for pictures either. Perfectly imperfect place for a photoshoot if you ask me! Enjoy!

Eli –Las Vegas Baby Photographer

Here is little Eli…..I love his dark head of hair and his calm expression.  He is one of those babies who is totally aware of his surroundings.  I had a great time waiting and anticipating his expressions, while me and mom made him the center of attention.  So many great pictures but these are just a few of my favorites.

Hole in his jeans – Las Vegas Portrait Photographer

We set up the kids trampoline they got for Christmas and they had so much fun playing!  There was a lot of jumping and bouncing going on so keeping the images in focus was a challenge for me….good practice though :)  Why post these pictures you ask?  Well, they are not the most perfectly composed pictures I have ever taken, but they are my kids.  The other one was taking a nap…so maybe you can see him next time.  These guys are the ones that got me started in taking pictures and I love being able to have these fun memories to look back on, even if their faces are a little dirty, their clothes are a mess or there is a hole in his jeans.

Twins are Born! – Las Vegas Event Photographer!

I was lucky enough to be invited into the room for some sweet baby time.  My big sis had a set of boy and girl twins!!!  Hooray!  What I would give to be able to get a two for the price of one pregnancy…..can we say jealous?!?  Pregnancy is not my favorite part of the birthing experience.  Baby boy weighed 7lb 12 oz and baby girl weighed 6lb 14 oz….yeah that’s right, my big sis carried the equivalent of a 14 1/2 lb baby!  The best part is that she looks great because she is so beautiful and she didn’t even have any makeup on.  Enjoy the pictures of the two newest 2010 tax deductions!  Love you guys!
